Garfield Ladner Memorial Fishing Pier is surrounded by a

rock jetty and sand beach.  Birders can look for birds from the beach, or pay a small fee to access the pier for open water birding. Best place for shorebirds is on the east side between the pier and the storm drain. Mississippi’s only documented record for American Flamingo is from this site.
